Transgender comedian Chikita has been rushed to the hospital, her friends confirmed on Friday.
Chikita is confined at the trauma room at Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center in Cebu City.
Makeup artist Wenwen Zaspa, a close friend of the comedian, said Chikita is now under close observation after suffering a heart attack.
"It is not true that Chikita is dead," Zaspa reiterated.
Chikita was first admitted to the hospital last month due to heart problems.
She is known for her favorite line, "Bakit hindi, lumalaban!" as seen in videos of her uploaded online.
