Who says romance is dead? It's alive and well, thanks to gents like Rex Intal.
In a Facebook post that's going viral, the Ateneo de Manila University volleyball star was seen getting creative in asking a girl to be his girlfriend.
For his grand plan, Intal first wrote a 70-page magazine filled with quotes from their friends and family about their relationship, photos of their trips together, as well as a profile on the girl and the things he likes about her.
Sounds complicated? It's really not that difficult to do, said Intal, because he was "inspired."
He then hatched a scheme to get the girl -- unaware of what is to come -- to dress up by having her join him for a fake event one night. This led to them taking a gondola ride (it gets a bit complicated) in Taguig, where he then gave her the magazine that includes the question of whether she would like to be his girlfriend.
To Intal's relief, the girl said yes.
